Just arrived,
1935 Soldiers Bible
Prayers at bed time is it.
______________

Arrived today (surprise from the wife!), a beautiful, full length, genuine leather officers coat. Chuffed to bits. Pity she doesn't realise that I'll now have to get a nice visor cap to go with it!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
Nice! That's bedtime sorted then...

Nice! That's bedtime sorted then...
Hmm, yes. I tried the coat on and it's a perfect fit but when I put on my SS crusher cap with it, it looks scarily good! Of course, the wife has said "Well, we can BOTH wear it", which partially explains why she forked out the better part of £200 for it.

What at the same time
think you might get some odd looks both wandering around in a flashermac together

Well, er, stranger things have happened! She HAS asked me to wear it with my officers boots, "just to see how it looks".
, so you never know!

When I want your opinion - I'll tell you what it is!
I'm afraid I can't compete with that... just taken delivery of some grey RAF braces. ![]()

Andy, I think you might be better not even try to compete with that. I've had weird and disturbing dreams since I read it.
